FARMING DIRECTOR

William Lee

Currently, Will manages and directs the production of organic produce across multiple farms on the North Fork. Dedicated to protecting our natural ecosystems he sits on the Southold Town Land Preservation Committee. As a Leopold Conservation Award winner, he has training for all aspects of professional growing and food handling. In addition he has participated in Produce Safety Alliance training and Farm Credit East Generation Next. As a third-generation farmer he integrates the wisdom of traditional methods with the innovative practices of modern agriculture.

Daphne Scalamandre

Daphne's role at Indian Neck is to oversee communication between the different areas and to ensure that the philosophy of the farm remains constant throughout. Wife of the owner and from Long Island originally, she is mom to two boys and volunteers for the local hospital and schools that their children attended. Now that their boys are grown, she has the time to embark on the new venture of INO. "I am not a farmer, but love spending time in the fields and learning about organic farming. I am in awe of the dedication of our farmers that work tirelessly to bring us the most beautiful produce that is full of flavor and nutrients. Our mission to preserve the land and respect all people and animals that use it, goes hand in hand with the organic practices used on this beautiful property. Nothing feels better than spending a day outside and eating our healthy food to make one feel good from the inside out!"
